THREE CHEERS TO NEO 1100

The Kyocera Neo 1100, a slick CDMA flip phone, is being launched at a time when standard phones are released every other month, and hardly anyone wants to buy them. So who will go for this one? The Kyocera Neo 1100 has one thing to say about it: It looks GOOD!

Black and sleek, with a fluorescent blue light-pipe running down the back, this phone sure is an attention-getter! It has an OLED on one side of the light-pipe; this hidden display features the battery strength, caller ID and signal received.

It has Web access, Bluetooth, 1.3 Mega Pixel Camera, and a flush keypad, such as the one used by the Moto RAZR. With these basic features in mind; this Neo 1100 can hold its own when compared to other basic spec phones from Nokia, Samsung and the like. However, with the latest gadgetry on the market, this phone will have to muscle in and make an impact, or get into wallflower mode forever.

Pros: Looks great in black, has all the basic features, web access, and its Slimline shape adds value to it.

Cons: It’s just another phone. It has mp3 playback, but the unpopular 2.5mm jack. Basic specs make B for Boring!

At this time when everyone wants to get the latest gizmo, the Kyocera Neo 1100 is looking to attract via its sleek lines and beautiful exterior. All you attention-seekers out there: stand ready for this one! Technology buffs: Keep away. This is one phone which is ideal for people who use their phones for talking, SMSing, and not much else. If you want to watch you-tube videos, Meh. Not for the likes of you.

Well, what have we here? You got it: 3 stars!
