Verizon Brings You the Moto V750

The new Motorola V750 Adventure is the first phone from Verizon that will use the EV-DO Rev., a network for high speed data transmission. So already it has a foot up on its predecessor. The phone also features CDMA dual band (850/1900 Mhz) and push-to-talk functionality.

The V750 Adventure is up to military specifications for heavy duty shock resistance and protection against vibration, solar radiation, dust and moisture. So you can accidentally drop this phone over and over even if it's into a puddle, sand dune or a pile of dust bunnies under your bed.

With a 2.0Megapixel camera, you can snap photos quickly as well as capture some real life video to post to Qik.com, YouTube or playback on the phone itself. The 2.2" screen has a resolution of 320x250 pixels and can offer up 65,000 colors. The V750 Adventure also comes with an external display that is 1.6" has a resolution of 120x160 pixels and can display 65,000 colors as well.

The phone can also send both simple text messages and MMS messages so you can snap those photos and send them to your friends instantly. You can also tell them what is happening with the built in instant messaging feature.

The inclusion of EV-DO in the V750 Adventure means that you can also surf the web and even check email via POP3 and IMAP and send via SMTP. For those not savvy on the e-mail front, that basically means you can connect to almost any email server available.

Additional features include a microSD card for memory expansion so you have space for photos and music, a speakerphone for hands free operation and 3.5 days of standby time with 3.8 hours of talk time.

Verizon is hoping to gather up those with butterfingers with this rugged flip phone available now for $99 from the carrier. If you drop your phone often, go through multiple phones a year and just need something a little sturdier, then the Motorola V750 Adventure from Verizon Wireless might be the solution.
