Verizon and Samsung have the Knack

The Knack offers a simplified interface featuring large text and numbers on its 2.2-inch internal screen that allows users to quickly phone and message without hassle. The large tactile keypad provides ample feedback and makes it easy to find letters and numbers in any situation.

The Knack also features dedicated keys for quickly contacting emergency (911), voice mail, voice commands and in case of emergency numbers. By programming up to three in case of emergency contacts, first responders will be able to notify the proper people in the event of an emergency.

The Samsung Knack also includes advanced speech recognition so you can call and activate certain features quickly without having to push a button or dial a number.

The Samsung Knack also comes with a bilingual-user interface. Additional software on the phone includes a personal organizer with calculator, calendar, alarm clock and a world clock along with a stop watch and a notepad.

The Samsung Knack comes in a stylish package at less than 3.8-inches long by 2-inches wide and less than ¾ of an inch thick. It weighs 3.63 ounces. How's that for a big value in a small package?

The standby time on a fully charged battery is up to 336 hours while actual usage could be as high as 270 minutes. That is more than enough time to take care of tons of phone calls and text messages.

The Samsung Knack retails for $39.99 with a new two-year contract and is available through Verizon Wireless retail outlets and authorized agents.
