AT&T along with manufacturer LG recently released a new phone ideal for mobile video, the Invision. It is the smallest mobile TV capable phone in the US market now at only 4 inches in length, 2 wide and under 1.5 thin. The phone can hook into the AT&T Mobile TV service so you can check out your favorite programming from CBS mobile, ESPN Mobile, FOX Mobile and NBC2GO.
The 3G Invision also has a 1.3 Megapixel camera which is great for making video calls. The phone comes loaded with tons of other cool features as well like the AT&T Mobile Music store which hooks into eMusic, Napster To Go and XM Radio Mobile so when you can't watch something you can at least hear something cool.
The built-in Bluetooth also means you don't need to be directly connected to the phone at all times and can make and receive calls and listen to music via a wireless headset.
Mobile TV from AT&T is offered up in the options $30 a month for all channels, Media Net and CV mobile video and unlimited access, $15 a month for unlimited access to just the channels and $13 a month for just CBS and FOX mobile, NBC 2GO and NBC News2Go. XM Radio Mobile gives you 25 channels for $8.99 a month
All that money you save on the phone can go towards a ton of cool new video and music content for your Invision so you'll never have to listen or watch the same old stuff over and over again. Plus you can even get access to some College Football video via the AT&T Mobile TV service so you won't need to worry about missing your alma mater's biggest matches of the season.
The Invision is in all AT&T stores now and retails for $99.99 with a two-year contract and $50 mail-in rebate making it a great option for the cost conscious mobile media maniac. No more are you limited to what you can hold on your phone with the new Invision and AT&T Mobile TV.
It's the question on everyone's mind: will you (or have you already) picked up the new 3G iPhone?
