Motorola and Verizon Wireless have teamed up to bring you a cool new flip with style and features, the Moto W755. Available in black slate and purple, its metallic case will really stand out and turn heads. Plus, with its ultra-slim design (0.68” thick), the W755 will vanish into a pocket without a telltale bulge. The phone is great for music mad people on the go.
The Moto W755 is able to access all of the great wireless media services provided by Verizon Wireless including the V Cast Music service. With quick controls and a display on the outside of the phone, you don’t even need to open it to browse music and search by artist, track, album and genre. The controls are ergonomically placed on the front face of the W755 so that you can look at the screen and use the controls at the same time. They also allow you to turn Bluetooth capabilities on and off and adjust your volume without openening the handset. The music player can handle MP3, AAC, WMV and several other formats and allows you to create playlists and listen via wired or wireless Bluetooth headphones.
But the Moto W755 isn’t just about music; it also has a built-in 1.3Megapixel camera to capture the both photos and videos. You can then view those images and videos on its 1.9” 176x200 pixel internal display. Between the phone’s internal 70MB of memory and the expansion (up to 4GB) offered by the microSD slot, you will always have enough space for your photos, videos and music. The Moto W755 can also hook up with V Cast Video, which means you can watch downloaded or streaming video right on the phone itself.
It also has built in GPS and can use the VZ Navigator service to give you turn-by-turn directions, audible maps and location information, so you will always know where you are and what’s around. And of course, the W755 is also a phone that can connect to CDMA networks for calling and EV-DO for mobile Internet with its WAP browser. It can send SMS and MMS and you can customize it with wallpapers, ringtones and more.
The Moto W755 is a great, slim, flip phone for Verizon Wireless customers seeking a music playing mobile with some video and image capabilities. If you’re mad about music on the go, then you need to go Moto.
