Memorex offers a portable iPod boombox

Taking form and mixing it with function, Memorex has built fashion and usability into one unit in the miniMove. Plug your iPod or other MP3 player into the purse-shaped dock and you’ve got everything you need to share you music with others. Not only can you play the music on your iPod through the unit but you can also charge it via the docking port.

The miniMove also features a built-in digital FM radio with presets so you can quickly find your favorite stations. You can even shape the sound to suit your ears with the built in digital equalizer complete with presets for specific music genres. The backlit LCD display ensures you’ll always be able to see the information you need to get the music you want.

With battery power and AC/DC options you can use the unit just about anywhere. The included remote lets you even control the tunes without having to hold onto the unit at all times. The Memorex miniMove comes in three color options – black, silver and pink – and includes a 30-pin dock connector as well as a line-in jack for other music playing devices. It’s also got a headphone jack so you can listen to your tunes without disturbing those around you.

With a suggested retail price of $49.99 and availability this month the Memorex miniMove is set to top the charts this holiday season and allow everyone to have an instant dance party or head-banging session in the park next spring.

The Memorex miniMove is available through retail outlets like Wal-Mart, J&R Music world and Fry’s Electronics. Don’t forget to stock up on rechargeable batteries as the miniMove requires four “AA” batteries which are not included.
